How do I buy a new car without feeding Obamas ego?

My car is getting old, and I want to buy a new one before it breaks. But, I don't want to make a big purchase because Obama will act like he is directly responsible for the sale. How do I buy a new car without adding to Obama's economic numbers? His ego is already too big. .
